Metalbird - PAIR OF LORIKEETS

This Pair of Lorikeets is unmistakable with their bright red beaks and colourful plumage. Both sexes look alike, with a blue (mauve) head and belly, green wings, tail and back, and an orange/yellow breast. They are often seen in loud and fast-moving flocks, or in communal roosts at dusk. They often travel together in pairs and occasionally respond to calls to fly as a flock, then disperse again into pairs. 

Lorikeets are the clowns of the bird world. They are mischievous and energetic, making sure that all eyes are on them. They are playful, love to dance, enjoy a chat and provide lots of fun and companionship.  They are highly gregarious, they love to interact, easy to socialize, and value interaction with their human keeper. 

They are generally affectionate birds known for their comical antics. Because they're naturally social birds that hang out in large groups in the wild, they have loud voices to be heard over their flock, they tend to express themselves with a high-pitched shrill that might catch the attention of nearby neighbors.Their antics are extremely entertaining for most people, but they can become a little much for someone that’s used to a more laid-back companion. They provide all the fun and sounds of a backyard bird circus.
