The rose-crowned fruit dove, also known as the pink-capped fruit dove or Swainson’s fruit dove, are known for their striking appearance, featuring a grey head and breast, an orange belly, and a distinctive pinkish-red crown bordered with yellow. They inhabit lowland rainforests and monsoon forests, where they primarily feed on various fruits, palms, and vines. Despite their vibrant colors, they can be quite elusive!
